This September, I took the month off from the experiment.
“Lame!” you might say. But I had some good reasons. I’ll explain.
My mom has undergone some intense stress over the past several years. So I felt it was important to visit her to try to help get her mind off of things.
A friend of mine and I took my dog Jasper on a roadtrip to see her, and it was beautiful! I have always wanted to go on a road trip! We went to some fun places, In all, we drove over 50 hours and went through 15 states.
This was one of those things I felt was important, more important than this experiment.
Another thing that happened was my husband’s mom turned 70! That is a significant milestone, much more important than this experiment as well. The family had planned a trip to Pigeon Forge.
All in all, it was a big travel month, which made it impossible to work doing the driving side hustle. So, I took the month off. It’s a fresh start for the month of October. 🎃
