Birthday week was a whirl, but it was fun. I feel so blessed!! We enjoyed two free concerts, a free dinner due to my mom giving us a gift card, and a beautiful lake day! We also celebrated Father’s Day.
Lake Day
I love lake days. The forecast called for rain, but it ended up being a beautiful day! I also took the pups out in the water. Jasper made it onto the paddleboard with me!
More Free Concerts
We went to a free country concert at a local city event center near us, and had such a great time at a second Guardians of the Jukebox concert. Using birthday money I received, I bought these amazing light up shoes. They are seriously amazing! We had such a good time.
Birthday Dinner
Justin gave me flowers and took me to one of my favorite places on my birthday, True Food Kitchen, using a gift card my mom had given us. It was so good!
Father’s Day
On Father’s Day, I took my dad to breakfast, (he gave me a gift card for my birthday!), and we had Justin’s family over for a late Father’s Day lunch.
Our power bills are starting to get high! Over $300 for this month. And I got my hair done too. So glad I am doing the side driving gig. I do not think this would work without that! And we are being super careful with the things we buy. The birthday gift money helps a lot. (As well as the fun free things to do!)
