SSB Week 10: Horseback riding, free sandwich, enjoying spring 🌷

It’s the second week of April, and it’s one of my favorite weather months!

This week, we recovered from Justin’s birthday, and I sold some items at a clothing resale store, as well as making some new keto-friendly treats.

Jewelry re-selling

Someone gave me some jewelry I didn’t need, so I was able to sell some of it. I applied the money toward some cotton shirts that were super inexpensive! The are great for the weather getting warmer.

Horseback riding

We had been planning this for awhile, but a friend wanted to overcome her fear of riding horses, and I was there for it! We owned horses when I was younger, and I love to go riding whenever I get the opportunity. It was such a beautiful day, and she did great!

After that, we went to a college and walked around. The tulips there were beautiful! I was inspired to plant some at home.

Keto meals & treats

We have pretty much stuck to the meals that work for us: protein such as cod from Costco, chicken, grass-fed beef burgers, or chicken burgers plus veggies. Publix had a BOGO sale on frozen roasted veggies, so I saved about $15 on those! These peanut butter protein balls were delicious, but I need to reduce the fat content to make them more feasible for weight loss.

Justin’s free sub

Justin also got a free sub due to points he earned for his birthday!

Overall it was a great week, and we are staying within our budget. We FINALLY submitted our taxes, just in the nick of time.

I end with a meme: Don’t do this, kids! Hope you have a great week! 😊
